Fallcon Wrap Up 2013

Fallcon has come and gone , and just all the years before it was a great show.  Huge thanks to all who came out and made it such a great day. To commemorate the day here is a commission that was ordered pre-con, based on Metallica's Seek and Destroy. 

Springcon Day 1: Off to a Great Start!

First and foremost, a huge thanks to all who came by and helped make today a great day. Yesterday I shared one of my commissions, today I share the second.... Tigra!

Springcon 2013! Here I Come!!!

Springcon is a mere 1 day away and I am ready. Well... Sorta. There are still commissions to finish, and things to pack. That said, one of the commissions is finished and ready to go. Based on the song For Whom the Bell Tolls, based on the book, based on an historic event, which I'm pretty sure, was based on a movie. So you can tell it required a bit of research. Anywho... Here it is:Springcon is this saturday and sunday at the MN state fair grounds so be sure to come by and say hello. I will have limited edition prints, original art, t-shirts, comics, and so on. I'll also be doing ink sketches all weekend for $25. See you there! 

C2E2 is over now onto Springcon

Hello and goodbye once more, Chicago. The other weekend was C2E2 so yours truly, with my best gal Katie, and the intrepid photographer and generally exuberant Peanut hopped in the car and made our way to the windy city. 

Once there we met up with team Mindwave Comics, prepped the table, buckled our seat belts, and were off.I was stoked.

And so was Katie.

 

It was a big weekend. Someone said 40,000 people in attendance and I'd believe it. Met plenty of new friends, snagged some swag, and drew some sketches. As if that wasn't enough, I sold a print of Mario to Mario! What more could a fellow want? 

A huge thanks to Peanut for all the awesome pics and assistance. An equally huge thanks to Todd and Soren for putting us all up over the weekend and allowing us to spend leisure time in their fabulous bar. And a last thank you to Katie for her tremendous support and general ability to make everything splendid.
